TAMAR
(BORN MA`AT, LIVE MA`AT, DIE MA`AT)
This is the creed we live by, as did the Ancient Egyptian. It simply means: you are born just and honest, you must live just and true and you will die in justice and truth. Not so easy, all the time, though is it? We must balance our lives and our actions by the scales of Ma`at (Goddess of Truth and Justice), because we will surely have our bas weighed against those very scales.
This Temple is dedicated to this principle. Therefore what we have written here is as honest and true an interpretation of our dealings with the Gods of Tamar.
